Eidetic ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension developed by Ironclad Consulting LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This privacy policy explains how the Extension handles your data.
The short version: we do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on our servers. Everything stays on your device.
Eidetic does not collect any data. We do not operate servers that receive information from the Extension. There are no analytics, no usage metrics, no crash reporting, and no telemetry of any kind.
All data generated by Eidetic — including extracted memory facts, preferences, version history, and configuration — is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB and the Chrome Storage API. This data never leaves your device.
You can view, edit, and delete all stored data at any time through the Extension's interface. Uninstalling the Extension removes all associated data from your browser.
Eidetic interacts with the following AI platforms solely through their public web interfaces:
The Extension reads conversation content from these platforms to extract context and injects stored memory state back into conversations at your request. This interaction happens entirely within your browser. No data is routed through our servers or any intermediary.
Your use of these third-party platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies, not ours.
Eidetic requests the following Chrome permissions:
We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your data to any third party. We do not have access to your data in the first place.
Eidetic is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
